5 Beauty Entrepreneurs You Need to Be Following

Here at Olivia Jenkins Consulting, we’re all about supporting other women. As a digital marketer specialising in beauty, I’m always on the lookout for innovative female CEOs who are making waves in the industry to cheer on.

Today, I want to highlight five incredible women (some of whom you may already be familiar with) who are doing exciting, unique things in the world of beauty while pursuing their dreams. I’m inspired by these women and I hope you are as well!

  • Zoë Foster Blake (Go-To Skincare)
Zoë is the founder of Australian skincare brand Go-To Skincare as well as a mum of two. After years of trying ineffective skincare products as a beauty editor, Zoë was inspired to start her own natural, cruelty-free skincare line based on best-in-class botanical ingredients. Now, her products are a cult favorite across Australia and she’s solidified her position as one of the leading women in the beauty scene.

Go-To Skincare bestsellers include Face Hero Face Oil and Fancy Face Nourishing Oil Cleanser. Follow Zoë on Instagram @zotheysay.

  • Tiffany Materson (Drunk Elephant)
Tiffany is the founder of Drunk Elephant, another cult favorite skin care line focused on biocompatibility. None of Drunk Elephant’s products include essential oils, drying alcohols, silicones, chemical sunscreens, fragrances/dyes, or SLS. The skincare line (inspired by Tiffany’s own struggle to understand her skin) is considered an “ingredient-elimination philosophy for a total skin reset” and is a global success. We can see why!
Drunk Elephant bestsellers include the T.L.C Sukari Babyfacial 25% AHA +  2% BHA Mask and C-Firma Vitamin C Day Serum. Follow Drunk Elephant on Instagram @drunkelephant.
  • Sunday Riley (Sunday Riley)
Sunday Riley, the CEO of self-named skincare line Sunday Riley, is a total badass when it comes to her skincare philosophy and brand values. As the brand’s founder and formulator, Sunday is dedicated to creating products that visibly improve skin quality while remaining ethical, Green Lab Certified, and free of irritating & harmful ingredients.

Sunday Riley bestsellers include the Good Genes Lactic Acid Treatment and C.E.O. Glow Vitamin C and Turmeric Face Oil. Follow Sunday on Instagram @sunday_stills.
  • Christine Chang (Glow Recipe)
K-Beauty may be a fairly new phenomenon in the skincare industry, but Christine Chang grew up using Korean beauty and skincare products, which inevitably led her to create her own Korean-beauty inspired skincare line Glow Recipe Skincare. Glow Recipe products are based on gentle yet effective formulas that have been clinically proven to deliver results (and an absolutely unmatched glow-from-within). They are also clean, vegan and cruelty-free.

Glow Recipe bestsellers include the Watermelon Glow Pink Juice Moisturizer and Watermelon Glow Niacinamide Dew Drops. Follow Christine on Instagram @christine_glow.

  • Jess Hatzis (frank body)
Jess Hatzis is one of the founders of frank body, an Australian-made skincare brand that prioritises making clean skincare fun again. Alongside her best friend, Jess recognised the potential use of coffee in skincare and decided to create a body scrub using just four main ingredients: coffee grinds, almond oil, vitamin E, and sea salt. The scrub quickly gained a cult following — and now the frank body line has expanded to include an entire line of beloved skincare and beauty products.

Frank beauty bestsellers include the Original Coffee Scrub and Smoothing AHA Body Lotion. Follow Jess on Instagram @jess_hatzis.

I’m so happy for the success of these incredible industry leaders, and I can’t wait to see the strides they make in 2022 and beyond!
